WATCH: The Andy Farrell Era Begins In Style With Sumptuous Ireland Try

Beautiful.

Ireland’s 2020 Six Nations campaign didn’t get off to the best of starts this afternoon with number eight Caelan Dorris forced off after just five minutes on his debut.

The 21-year-old clashed heads with one of his teammates and looked to be completely out of it momentarily. The back-row was replaced by Peter O’Mahony while an HIA was carried out but failed the test and was unable to return.

Not long after Scotland took the lead with a penalty to make it 3-0. But Ireland soon got their hands on the ball with Jordan Larmour making some serious metres after making an excellent break up the right hand side.

Moments later Ireland had their first try under Andy Farrell. Healy popped lovely in contact, Larmour ran the dummy line and Murray put Sexton through a massive hole to make it 5-3.

Sexton converted but Scotland soon made it 7-6. 18 minutes gone now in the Aviva Stadium at the time of writing and it’s so far so good for Ireland.
