Champions of the World.

South Africa were crowned Rugby World Cup champions this morning for the third time in their history, becoming the first team to win the Rugby Championship and the World Cup in the same year and the first team to win it after losing a pool match.

In the end it was their dominate display at scrum time that defeated England, with two late tries putting some gloss on the scoreline.

And celebrations are already well and truly underway, with the Boks filling the famous Webb Ellis cup up with some booze before passing it around the changing room for everyone to get in on the action and soak up a famous win.

Scrumhalf Faf de Klerk was the first man to take the contents of the cup down before everyone else got in on the action. A famous win with celebrations no doubt now set to continue for some time. Well earned.
