Wallabies outhalf Christian Lealiifano shared an incredibly emotional moment with his son in the aftermath of Australia’s defeat to England in the World Cup this morning.
Lealiifano was told he may never play rugby again after being diagnosed with leukaemia three years ago but made a miraculous recovery. He got back on his feet with an impressive loan spell at Ulster last season before going on to star for the Brumbies this year and earning a Wallabies recall.
It wasn’t to be for his side against England this morning but having been through what he has, Lealiifano took every minute to savour the moment with his son. A true inspiration.
