Typhoon.
World Rugby have called an emergency press conference because of Super Typhoon Hagibis, which threatens to bring 160mph winds and heavy rain to the World Cup in Japan across the weekend.
Saturday’s clash between England and France is said to be in serious threat but World Rugby are yet to reveal what the plan is for this weekend, leaving the teams, the fans and the media in complete disarray.
The match could end up being played behind closed doors or even cancelled. If the fixture doesn’t go ahead it will be declared a draw with both teams earning 2 points, with England then topping the pool.
The Independent say a decision on the location of the game should it be played, is yet to be decided – but it could be too late to move it on such short notice. But overall it does not look good with Japan set to be hit by the worst typhoon in 60 years.
Absolute chaos here. Nobody has a clue what’s going on; teams, fans, (sections of) media… or World Rugby. #rwc2019 #typhoon

Situation has descended into complete farce because NO ONE will confirm anything 72 hours out from a World Cup match
Yes fans will be refunded if the game is cancelled or moved, but they don't get the hundreds or thousands that they've paid to get to and stay in Japan, do they?
