England winger Jack Nowell was forced to have emergency surgery last week while away at a World Cup training camp in Italy.
The Exeter Chiefs star spent four days in hospital after having his appendix removed, but is now back in the England camp after making a recovery.
Nowell has not played since injuring his ankle in their Premiership final loss to Saracens back in June, but was included in England’s 31-man World Cup squad for Japan.

His club boss Rob Baxter says the winger is “touch and go” for the World Cup with this latest setback adding to his list of recent woes.
“I think he’s going to be touch and go for involvement in the World Cup,” Baxter told BBC Radio Devon recently
“But let’s cross our fingers and hope that he can come through.”
Talk about bad luck.
