Final 31.
Ireland got back to winning ways against Wales yesterday afternoon with a much-needed 22-17 win at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Head coach Joe Schmidt made a number of changes before the game, with the fixture acting as a last chance for a number of players to impress before he officially hands in his 31-man squad to World Rugby tomorrow afternoon.
Dave Kilcoyne, Jack Carty, Will Addison and Andrew Conway were among those to impress, and could very well have booked their seat on the plane to Japan as a result.
Chris Farrell meanwhile didn’t exactly take his chance yesterday and could now very well miss out, with Bundee Aki solidifying his spot in the squad with one of his best performances in months.
The only way we could see Farrell travelling is if Schmidt sees Addison as more of a back-three player with Conway or Larmour then missing out as a result.
Here’s our final 31-man World Cup squad.
