Back-to-back.
Ireland take on Wales at the Principality Stadium this weekend in the first of two games against Warren Gatland’s side as they look to bounce back from Saturday’s disappoiting defeat to England.
Once again Joe Schmidt will be without a number of key players with the likes of Joey Carbery, Keith Earls and Robbie Henshaw all set to miss the fixture.
Johnny Sexton could feature, but likely won’t start with Connacht’s Jack Carty in line to make his first start for Ireland. Elsewhere a number of players are set to see their first minutes of the warm-up campaign.
The in-form Jack Conan looks set to come into the starting line-up along with the likes of Dave Kilcoyne, James Ryan, Kieran Marmion, Will Addison and Niall Scannell.
Both teams are expected to put out experimental teams this weekend before going full strength for the final warm-up game in Dublin next week ahead of the World Cup.
