Red card.
Reigning world champions New Zealand suffered a shock record 47-26 defeat at the hands of Australia on Saturday morning – blowing the World Cup in Japan wide open.
Steve Hansen’s men have struggled in recent weeks, and look to be running out of steam at the worst possible time.
A huge turning point in the game on Saturday came just before half-time, when lock Scott Barrett was sent off for ramming his shoulder into the neck of Wallabies captain Michael Hooper in the 40th minute.
For some reason there’s been a bit of controversy surrounding the red card, with former England centre Will Greenwood among those to criticise it with some baffling comments about the referee “hiding behind the laws.”
But perhaps this new angle of Barrett’s challenge will clear things up. Have a look for yourself. If that’s not a red card, we don’t know what is.

Really can’t understand the controversy.
