The road to Japan.
Head coach Joe Schmidt and his coaching ticket have named the Ireland team for this weekend’s World Cup warm-up clash with Italy at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Two uncapped players look set to make their debuts with Jean Kleyn named in the starting line-up and Mike Haley on the bench, while Tommy O’Donnell makes his long awaited return in green at openside.
Elsewhere it’s an experimental line-up with a number of fringe players given a chance to shine and book their place on the plane to Japan.
