Wales international Rhys Webb may not be able to represent his country anymore due to his move to France with Toulon, but the scrumhalf got another pop at England yesterday representing the Barbarians.
Unfortunately for him the home side came out on top at Twickenham in a 51-43 thriller, but Webb was able to don the famous black and white colours for the first time and pay special tribute to someone who played a huge role in his rugby career.
Webb paid tribute to the late chairman of his first rugby club Bridgend Athletic during yesterday’s clash, sporting a black armband in memory of him as well as the club’s green and gold socks instead of Toulon’s.

Andrew Tellem recently passed away after a long battle with illness and Webb has described how the entire community was “hurt” by his loss.
“It has been a sad moment because we lost our chairman,” he told the BBC.
“He has battled hard with his illness and was a real warrior. The socks and black armband were for him.”
“It really hurt us as a whole in the community and he has done a lot for the club. So this week was also for him.”
