Shortlist.
Former Grand Slam-winning Wales coach Mike Ruddock is on a shortlist to replace Jerry Flannery as forwards coach for Munster, according to a report by the Limerick Leader.
Flannery along with backs coach Felix Jones announced at the beginning of the week that they will not be renewing their contracts at the end of the season, with Munster now on the lookout for two high-profile replacements.
Ruddock is already based in Ireland as the head coach of hugely successful All-Ireland-League side Landsdowne, and still remains highly regarded in the game given his achievements to date.
Another Welshman in Rob Howley meanwhile has reportedly interviewed for the backs coach role, ahead of Jones’ departure.
