The British and Irish Lions have verbally agreed a deal with Wales boss Warren Gatland to lead them once again in 2021, according to a report by The Telegraph.
Gatland has been in talks with Lions bosses for a number of weeks to lead them on an unprecedented third tour in-a-row and it appears they have struck a deal that will see the New Zealander once again lead them when they travel to South Africa in two years time.
Negotiations are said to have concluded ahead of schedule with Gatland expected to formalise things by signing an official contract as early as next week.
Gatland led the Lions to victory over in Australia back in 2013, before going on to draw the series with New Zealand back in 2017, masterminding a famous win over the world champions in Wellington.
