Leinster will be without Ireland international Adam Byrne for the rest of the season after the winger picked up a season-ending quad injury.
The eastern province are still battling on both fronts, having already secured a PRO14 semi-final spot on top of them reaching a second successive Champions Cup final over the weekend.
Byrne’s absence could spell bad news for Jamison Gibson-Park or Scott Fardy with one of them now likely to miss out on the Champions Cup final in place of James Lowe even more so with Byrne out.
