Final round.
The curtain will come down on the 2019 Six Nations this Saturday with three final games – and it promises to be an absolute belter of a round.
Up first Italy will fancy their chance to end their horrific run of defeats in the Six Nations at home to France in Rome. The French have been pretty poor this year and Italy could very well cause an upset. England’s Matthew Carley will take charge of that game, with Nigel Owens one of the assistants.
Then things get really interesting with Wales hosting Ireland at the Principality. A win for Wales seals a Grand Slam, while a win for Ireland gives them a chance of retaining their title. World Referee of the Year Angus Gardner has been tasked with managing what promises to be a fiery affair.
And finally the Calcutta Cup will be on the line with England take on Scotland at Twickenham with New Zealand’s Paul Williams in charge of the curtain closer.
