Fair play.
Ireland U20s were crowned Six Nations champions first the first time since 2010 and kept their dreams of an historic Grand Slam alive with victory over France in Cork on Friday evening.
The young men in green have been a joy to watch so far in the championship this season and are deserved winners after an incredible 31-29 win over their French counterparts.
Ireland take on Wales this weekend chasing a perfect record but might have to do it without star scrumhalf Craig Casey who looks to have sustained a worrying injury in Friday’s fixture.
The Shannon man looked to be badly injured at the bottom of a ruck on France’s line with one of his opponents rushing in to get him out in case he sustained further damage. We’re not sure if this is correct procedure or not in this situation but you have to applaud the Frenchman who definitely meant well and had to act quick.
Looked to me like Jordan Joseph was dragging Craig Casey out of the ruck with the aim of preventing further injury.
Not sure if that is medically the right thing to do, but fair play if he was trying to help. pic.twitter.com/Vo05amlIdg
