Ireland kept themselves in contention for this year’s Six Nations Championship on Sunday with a much needed bonus-point win over France at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Captain Rory Best opened the scoring after just three minutes with an excellent finish in the corner, before Johnny Sexton grabbed Ireland’s second after an excellent bit of play with Garry Ringrose.
Replacement Jack Conan powered over for Ireland’s third shortly after, before Keith Earls scored Ireland’s crucial bonus-point score twenty minutes from the end after an excellent lineout move.
The winger stood at the front of the lineout before hiding at the tail of a maul as CJ Stander got his hands on the ball. The number eight drew in two French defenders to put Earls through a gaping hole in a fantastically well-worked try. Check out this brilliant aerial view of the try below.
