Joe Schmidt looks set to make a number of changes this weekend for their trip to Scotland as Ireland look to bounced back from their disappointing defeat to England last weekend.
The Ireland boss will be without a number of players through injury – forcing him to reshuffle his deck. In the pack, Ireland will be without Devin Toner and CJ Stander this weekend, with Quinn Roux, Jack Conan and Sean O’Brien primed to start.
And interestingly in the backs, Robbie Henshaw’s fullback experiment looks to be over, at least for now. That decision has been made a lot easier with Garry Ringrose ruled out, leaving a centre spot open for Henshaw to slot straight back into.
Elsewhere, Ultan Dillane look set for spots on the bench, while Keith Earls looks to have overcome a hip problem to retain his spot on Ireland’s right wing.
