Name and shame.
Ulster head coach Dan McFarland has called for any fans with information to come forward with informations following reports that Simon Zebo was racially abused at Kingspan over the weekend.
Zebo hinted on Twitter yesterday that he was the subject of racist abuse during the game. Speaking on BT Sport’s Champions Cup highlights show, presenter Craig Doyle said he has heard reports of exactly what was said.
“I have heard reports from people close to that situation what may have been said to him [Zebo] and looks like has been said to him.” Doyle said.
“And it’s disgusting, and will not be repeated on television.”
Doyle and panelist Brian O’Driscoll urged anyone to come forward with information so that the person in question is never “allowed inside a sporting ever again”. And now Ulster boss McFarland has echoed those comments.
“If there is anybody out there who knows what happened, and if something happened, we want to know because nobody should have to put up with that,” McFarland told BBC.
Both Ulster and the EPCR are currently investigating the incident.
