Simon Zebo has taken to Twitter following yesterday’s Champions Cup pool clash between Ulster and Racing 92 following some unsavoury comments from the crowd directed at the Irishman.

The former Munster star scored a try as Racing fell to a 26-22 defeat at Kingspan. But Racing remain top of Pool 4 having claimed a two bonus-points from the game.

Zebo said he hopes his ears “deceived” him in a post on Twitter, making reference to movie character Django, an African/American slave most recently played by Jamie Foxx in an adaption by Quentin Tarantino.

Let’s hope Zebo didn’t hear what he thinks he heard, but it would be unlike the Corkman to bring this to people’s attention unless he believed something was in fact said.
