Yes boy.
Ireland’s performance against world champions New Zealand last night was nothing short of incredible. But to think they did it without one of their best players, beggars belief.
Conor Murray is arguably the best scrumhalf in the world right now, but unfortunately was unable to play in last night’s 16-9 win over the All Blacks as he continues to recover from a neck problem.
But such is the quality of this current Ireland team – you would barely have noticed his absence, with Kieran Marmion stepping up to the plate in an excellent performance.
Murray will be disappointed he wasn’t out there, but he was one proud man at the final whistle.
