This is gold.
Sonny Bill Williams will miss New Zealand’s upcoming series with France after aggravating an old knee injury that has forced him to undergo surgery.
The All Blacks centre underwent keyhole surgery to remove a loose piece of bone in his knee joint. But it appears he’s been enjoying himself in hospital after sharing this hilarious post-op video.
Williams took song requests and sang song for the nurses while heavily medicated.
“I just want to reiterate again that the meds they give you for surgery are very strong and take a while to wear off,” Williams Tweeted.
Williams initially rejected a suggestion to sing Taylor Swift, as he said she is “definitely not my genre,” instead deciding to belt out a rendition of 90s R&B group All-4-One’s song I Swear.
Check it out below. Absolute gold.
