Thanks Mul.
Connacht gave John Muldoon the perfect send-off in his final game for the western province this afternoon, as they demolished provincial rivals Leinster 47-10 at the Sportsground.
Muldoon is set to retire and take up a coaching position with Pat Lam’s Bristol next season, after playing over 300 games in an incredible career for Connacht.
Two tries each from Niyi Adeolokun and Kieran Marmion, along with one each for Ireland internationals Tiernan O’Halloran, Bundee Aki, and Muldoon himself, ensured a complete and utter rout in Galway.
To cap it all off – Muldoon converted his own kick, ensuring he ends his career with a 100% record from the tee!
Thank you Mul. What a player and what a day for the back-row.
