Banter.
Dan Carter and Ronan O’Gara battled each other on a rugby pitch for many years, before they ended up working together at Racing 92.
The two legendary playmakers ended up hitting it off and ended up become great friends in Paris. Carter is also the reason O’Gara now works for the Crusaders, after he recommended the Irishman to his former club.
Carter turned 36 yesterday, and of course O’Gara was quick to congratulate his good pal and wish him a happy birthday.
“Just the 4 years between us!!” O’Gara wrote to Carter
“Happy Birthday to the man who it went right for!! I look forward to the list of restaurants to visit in Paris when I return !!
“Honor’s list for here is class..”
The New Zealander responded brilliantly, noting there’s a lot more than four years separating the two.
“4 years and 500 test points!” Carter wrote back
Carter is the all-time leading Test points scorer with 1598 points in 112 caps while O’Gara sits fourth on the list behind Jonny Wilkinson and Neil Jenkins with 1083 points in 130 caps.
Excellent banter from the legendary All Blacks playmaker.
