Former International Makes Huge Revelation Regarding Cocaine Use In Rugby

Rampant.

Last week the news broke that Wallabies star Karmichael Hunt had once again been charged with possessing cocaine after police arrested him in Brisbane.

Back in 2015 he received a six-week suspension and a A$30,000 fine for cocaine possession, and he joins a long list of professionals that have been in some form of trouble over the drug.

Just last year former All Black Ali Williams and former Wallaby James O’Connor were arrested in Paris while trying to purchase 2 grams of the white stuff.

Former Samoa international Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu says its commonplace and that “loads of ballers do it.” Fuimaono-Sapolu, who had stints with Bath and Gloucester in the Premiership, was responding to a Tweet by rugby journalist Paul Williams about Hunt.

He says many professionals, including some of our “favourite All Blacks”, take the drug as a substitute for alcohol, which generally has a high calorie count.

He also revealed that unbeknownst to ourselves we have witnessed professionals playing Test matches while on cocaine.
