That didn’t take long.
Simon Zebo has been dropped from the Ireland squad for next month’s Autumn series following the announcement that he will plying his trade in France next season.
His Munster teammate Darren Sweetnam is the man who benefits with Schmidt naming four uncapped players in his squad. Bundee Aki, Adam Byrne and Chris Farrell are the other three in a 38-man squad.
Ireland face South Africa at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday 11 November, before games against Fiji (18 November) and Argentina (25 November).
