Linking up with a couple of old friends.
Irish rugby fans were left shocked today when the news broke that Munster star Simon Zebo is set to depart the province at the end of the current season.
Many had expected him to sign a new deal and stay until at least after the 2019 Rugby World Cup before cashing in on a move to France. Zebo has made it no secret that he wants to move there, but why he’s done it so soon remains to be seen.
His destination is yet to be revealed but it’s after emerging in the last hour or so that he’s reportedly set to link up with Donnacha Ryan and Ronan O’Gara at Racing 92, after signing a pre-contract agreement with the French giants.
Pau have also reportedly made contact, but a move to Paris now seems to be his likeliest destination.
