Is Kieran Keane the right man to lead Connacht?
Replacing Pat Lam was never going to be an easy task. The former Samoa captain revolutionised rugby in the west of Ireland and brought the western province their first and only trophy in history.
At the end of the day the offer that came in from Bristol was too good and Connacht fans were left heartbroken. Matters however, have gotten even worse after a horrendous start to the season under new boss Kieran Keane.
The former Chiefs assistant coach came to Ireland with a glowing reputation, but it seems his style hasn’t clicked with the Irish province, and his interview after the late loss to Cardiff has a lot of people talking.
Speaking to Sky Sports’ Graham Simmons, a disgruntled Keane looked like a man who already given up on his new job. While he’s clearly disappointed with the result, his answers and attitude won’t exactly fill Connacht fans with confidence. Have a watch below for yourself.
