Scotland and Glasgow playmaker Finn Russell has emerged as a target for Racing 92.
Russell, who was a late call-up to this summer’s Lions tour is being touted as a potential long-term replacement for Dan Carter who’s contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
Racing have already brought in Springbok Pat Lambie, but are said to be interested in bringing the Scotland stat also on a deal worth a reported €450,000 a season.
Midi Olympique are reporting a ‘firm offer’ has been made to the Scotland international, and while Carter is likely to sign on for one more season, Russell is keen on the move.
