What a lunatic.
Donncha O’Callaghan is without doubt one of the biggest messers in rugby and an absolute character. There’s been countless stories over the years of the former Munster and Ireland lock getting up to mischief and this might just be our favourite.
O’Callaghan and Peter Stringer were recently reunited after the scrumhalf signed a short-term deal with Worcester, where O’Callaghan is captain. The two sat down for an interview this week with BT, set to be aired ahead of the televised fixture between Gloucester and Worcester and if this clip is anything to go by, it’s not to be missed.
The lock recalls the time he was at a team meeting with Munster and there was a pond nearby. He decided to get some cornflakes and see if he could lure the ducks into the meeting room and it turns out, he got pretty far!
We’ll let Donncha tell you the rest…
