What a signing this would be.
Leicester Tigers are believed to be in talks to sign All Black Damien McKenzie from Super Rugby side the Chiefs. Talks are at an advanced stage for the talented utility back according to The Rugby Paper.
At just 22, McKenzie is already one of the hottest talents in New Zealand, but is said to be frustrated with his lack of opportunity with the All Blacks. He was brought into the squad for the Lions series, but failed to make any matchday squads.
Leicester are currently in the market for a number of talents, after cleaning house in recent weeks. There are also said to be showing interest in McKenzie’s brother and South African back-row Arno Botha.
