‘He’s big and he’s fucking strong!’
What a bloody season Tadhg Furlong has had. The Leinster and Ireland prop came into the campaign relatively unknown, yet to make his mark at club or international level. Then November came and Furlong hasn’t look back since.
The tighthead was inspirational in Ireland’s Autumn series, particularly against the All Blacks and went on star for Leinster in the PRO12 and Champions Cup, before lighting up the Six Nations as the standout front-row.
Warren Gatland then awarded him with a spot in his Lions squad, where he went on to play all three Tests, starring once again as one of the best players on tour. As a result, one of the greatest chants of all time was coined. Have a watch below.
