Stuart Hogg was reunited with an old pal at the Lions gathering in London today.
The Scotland and Glasgow Warriors fullback was the youngest player on tour last tim round in Australia and was tasked with taking care of BIL the Lion.
“It’s been a long four years without him.” Hogg said.
“It’s good to see him, he’s looking well. There’s a lot of good memories. I was proud to see him sitting at the side of the pitch for every game, I was like a proud father.”
This time round Saracens and England lock Maro Itoje will be the man tasked with taking care of BIL, and Hogg has some advice for the young forward.
“You’ve got to keep a close eye on him. At every opportunity he tends to go walkabouts. He might be hiding in a few different places, but I’m sure he’ll (Itoje) will do a good job.”
