The best fans in the world.
As the regular season comes to a close in the PRO12 today, we’ve decided to take a look back at some statistics for the season and it’s probably of no surprise, when it comes to attendance, the Irish lead the way.
Despite disappointing season on the pitch, Ulster’s fans have stuck with their side, topping the list with an average attendance of 15,792. The northern province are closely followed by Leinster, who have an average attendance of 15,564 this season.
In third place is Munster with an average attendance of 12,890 in the league this season. Interestingly Leinster and Munster top the charts in the Champions Cup this season also with average attendances of 30,081 and 25,900 respectively.
Munster incredibly sold out every single home game in the Champions Cup this season.
