This is hilarious.
Ma’a Nonu was at his brilliant best as he helped Toulon to a thrilling and important win over Toulouse in the Top 14 yesterday evening. The former All Blacks centre scored the last of Toulon’s three tries with a brilliant solo 30m effort in their 33-23 win.
It was Richard Cockerill’s first game in charge since taking the top job on an interim basis following Mike Ford’s sudden departure last week.
Wallaby centre Matt Giteau was announced as Cockerill’s backs coach during the shake-up and brilliantly tweeted about how he now has a 1/1, 100% record as a coach.
Teammate and longtime friend Drew Mitchell spotted Giteau’s tweet and hilariously responded after he was substituted during the game. Their exchange made for some hilarious reading.
Is there a better record out there?? 100% ??! 😂😂 Comme ça j'arrête!! 👌🏼
Merci à tous pour vos msgs 🔴⚫️🏉
