The Irish are back.
Munster and Leinster both cruised into the semi-final stages of the Champions Cup yesterday with massive wins over Toulouse and Wasps respectively.
Leinster stepped up first in the early kick-0ff and put Premiership leaders Wasps to the sword in excellent rugby conditions at the Aviva. Joey Carbery stole the show with an inspirational performance at fullback with Isa Nacewa, Jack Conan, Robbie Henshaw and Fergus McFadden grabbing the tries.
Rassie Erasmus’ Munster left it late to blow Toulouse away with two tries in the final ten minutes, but it was a game that they never looked like losing and that’s no disrespect to the French giants.
Munster will now play Saracens in Dublin after their win over Glasgow, while Leinster take on Clermont in Lyon after their win over Toulon.
Here are some of the best reactions after a fantastic day for Irish Rugby.
