Sour grapes anyone?
Conor O’Shea gave us a master class in coaching this afternoon with a brilliant ruck tactic in the England and Italy Six Nations game.
The Azzuri brilliantly decided they weren’t going to commit bodies at the ruck.
This meant no ruck was formed and Italy remained on side, free to disrupt England at every given chance.
England captain Dylan Harley and flanker James Haskell even had to question the referee, not knowing the laws.
Poite brilliantly responded, saying he’s a ‘referee, not a coach’
Former England scrumhalf Matt Dawson has now had the audacity to criticise Italy’s tactics, despite England still getting the win.
