Ireland and Munster legend Ronan O’Gara has just been granted the freedom of Cork.
O’Gara joins a n impressive list of people who have received the same honour, including Presidents Michael D. Higgins, Mary McAleese, Mary Robinson, Eamon de Valera, JFK and Sonia O’Sullivan.

The talented playmaker is one of Cork’s greatest exports and reacted to the news on Twitter stating he was “humbled and honoured.”
