There are very few men out there that call it how they see it quite like Ronan O’Gara.
The former Munster and Ireland playmaker was in studio with RTE for today’s game between Ireland and Scotland, and once again was as honest and forthcoming as you like about Ireland’s performance.
It finished 27-22 to Scotland and to be quite honest, the Scots could have won the game by a bigger margin. They were better than the Irish in almost every facet of the game, and while there were a lot of missed chances for Joe Schmidt’s men, Scotland were deserved winners.
There was a lot of talk this week about Conor Murray potentially being targeted in the game, and while there may have been a couple of late challenges, at the end of the day he was marshalled, and marshalled well.
O’Gara put it nice and simple- Ireland were bullied and he’s dead right.
