Vern Cotter has named his Scotland team.
Scotland has named a strong side for their opening round clash with Ireland on Saturday in Murrayfield. The Scots come into the Six Nations with high hopes, after an impressive November series, with many suggesting an upset could be on the cards.
Joe Schmidt names his side later on today, but now knows what he’ll be up against. Greg Laidlaw once again captain the Scots and will be partnered by the in-form Finn Russell, while the Gray brothers, Jonny and Richie make up a strong second-row.
Huw Jones has recovered from a foot injury to take his spot in midfield alongside Alex Dunbar, while in the back-row, Josh Strauss comes in at eight.
Scotland’s biggest threat will no doubt come in the shape of their back three made up of Tommy Seymour, Stuart Hogg and Sean Maitland.
