What a load of balls.
Ardscoil Ris secured their place in the Munster Schools Senior Cup semi-finals today with 9-7 win, thanks to an injury minute penalty from the touchline, eliminating holders CBC.
The Cork side looked to have done enough only for winger Maurice Noonan to step up more than five minutes into injury time after first-choice kicker Craig Casey went off with a head injury. Noonan’s perfectly executed kick sent the Ardscoil Ris faithful into pandemonium, as the Limerick side secured a famous win.
Hat tip to Jack O’Connor for sending this our way.
