A member of the Sale Sharks playing squad could be in some serious hot water.
Neil Fissler of the Sunday Express is reporting that a Sale Sharks player is due to face a disciplinary hearing tomorrow after it was discovered that he passed on some confidential information to an opposition coach.
Premiership Rugby and the RFU have been informed, with the information said to have been given to a Bristol coach ahead of their game with Sale on New Year’s Day by one of the the Shark’s players.
Bristol came out on top in that affair with their fellow strugglers, by a single point. It was just their second win of the season.
More information will no doubt be revealed tomorrow following the hearing.
