This is an absolute joke.
Tickets for Ireland’s home games against France and England are being sold for astronomical rates online. Joe Schmidt’s men host France at the Aviva on February 25th and England on March 18th.
Popular ticketing websites Viagogo and StubHub have a number of tickets on sale for both games with the former selling tickets for the French game at €500 for the cheapest, up as far as €1,600 for the most expensive.
StubHub are selling tickets for the French game at €347 for the cheapest up as far as an astronomical €2,000 for the most expensive. Tickets for the mouth-watering England game on Paddy’s weekend are even more ludicrous.
Tickets for the England game are best priced at €773 on Viagogo for the cheapest and a whopping €5,000 for the most expensive. StubHub have tickets for the England game at €840 for the cheapest and €2,100 for the most expensive.
Absolute madness!
