Munster take on Leicester this weekend in a crucial Champions Cup clash at Thomond Park.
Director of Rugby Rassie Erasmus will welcome back all his international ahead of the game but has one key injury concern ahead of the tie, with captain Peter O’Mahony complaining of a stiff back following his withdrawal after 57 minutes of his side’s last-gasp, Pro12 win against Glasgow last weekend.
Erasmus however is confident the back-row will be fit in time for the cup tie. South African centre Jaco Taute and scrumhalf Duncan Williams both picked up knocks in the win over Glasgow, but Erasmus is confident he will have all three fit and ready for selection come Saturday.
Injuries, since Saturday, just Peter. Peter O’Mahony has a little bit of a stiff back,” said Erasmus.
“The other concern was Jaco Taute, just bumps and bruises on the ribs. The other guys that played, Duncan Williams got a little bit of a shoulder but none of them should be a doubt for this weekend.”
Erasmus also confirmed that Tyler Bleyendall will be also be fit and ready for this weekend’s game, having miss the win over Glasgow.
