This is brilliant.
Ireland defeated the All Blacks the weekend in case you haven’t heard yet. Joe Schmidt’s men finally broke the famous curse, defeating New Zealand in Chicago for the very first time after 111 years of trying.
Ireland had come so close in the past, 2013 stands out as the closest Ireland had ever gotten, before Saturday’s triumph. The Irish bagged five tries in a memorable 40-29 win with Jordi Murphy, CJ Stander, Conor Murray, Simon Zebo and Robbie Henshaw picking up a score each.
The stadium itself was a sell-out and as expected, was largely filled with Irish supporters. Among the see of green were three lads brilliantly dressed up as a human Irish flag, and they took they’re job quite seriously.
