The New Zealand Maori have arrived in Limerick.
Munster host the New Zealand Maori this weekend in what promises to be another historic affair at Thomond Park. The southern province have famously hosted many international touring sides over the years, famously beating the All Blacks and Australia in 1978 and 2010 respectively.
Last time round in 2008, Munster came very close to beating the mighty All Blacks again but they will have to settle for the Maori this Friday, as they bid to seek revenge. The good news for Munster however, is Ireland already did a number of the All Blacks this past weekend.
Tana Umaga will be one of the coaches leading the Maori to Thomond Park this Friday and him and his team are already enjoying the sights of Limerick. They were spotted cycling the streets today and even stopped off in the famous King John’s Castle.
