What a take.
Munster’s Simon Zebo along with every other Irish player last night, played an absolute stormer. The winger grabbed Ireland’s fourth try as they put five past the mighty All Blacks in a historic 40-29 win.
It’s the first time in history Ireland have beaten the All Blacks after 111 long years of trying. Ireland went in at half-time with a comfortable lead before New Zealand came back fighting in the second-half only for Robbie Henshaw to seal it in the last ten minutes.
Last night we witnessed one of the greatest game’s in the history of rugby, and not just from an Irish standpoint. There was plenty of scores, plenty of hits and some truly magical phases of play from both sides.
One of the highlights of the game that truly epitomised Ireland’s will and determination was an absolute beauty of a catch from Zebo. The Corkman put his body on the line to take a huge box-kick put in my Munster teammate Conor Murray, stunning the opposition.
Check it out below. A special moment.
