Former Ireland rugby star Paddy Wallace has been charged with harassing his estranged wife Tina.
Wallace and beautician Tina split up earlier this year after 11 years of marriage.
The 37-year old former Ulster and Ireland back’s case is to be reviewed at Belfast Magistrates’ Court in 10 days time after a short hearing last Friday.
Wallace, who was excused from having to be in court on Friday, is accused of harassing Tina – the mother of his two children and who is a make-up artist for Game of Thrones – on dates between April 30 and May 6 this year.
He denies the charge, with his lawyer telling the court his client wants a date fixed for trial. It also emerged that four witnesses will give evidence against Wallace, and one witness will act for the defence.
The alleged harassment against his ex-wife is alleged to have occurred just weeks after their break-up. [Independent]
