Top 14 giants Toulon have recruited former Bath Director of Rugby Mike Ford in an attempt to improve their struggling season.
Reports suggest Ford will start his new job on Monday four months after Bath sacked him. He reportedly met with Toulon owner Mourad Boudjellal and head coach Diego Dominguez last Wednesday and apparently made a good impression.
Toulon have been heavily criticised by Boudjellal this season after losing three of their first five games. They currently sit eighth on the standings and are seven points behind leaders Clermont.
Ford will apparently be given extensive first-team responsibilities with regards to attack, defence and overall game-plan.
