What a tackle.
England finally got the win they’ve long been searching for yesterday, defeating the Springboks 25-10 and putting an end to their miserable six-game losing streak in the process.
Danny Cipriani shone in his first start for England in ten years, putting a beautiful kick in behind at one stage for an excellent Jonny May try.
But it’s the Boks who take the series 2-1, and new head coach Rassie Erasmus will no doubt be pleased with his side. The decision to bring guys like Faf de Klerk and Willie Le Roux back in paid off – and the Springboks look like they can really kick on from here.
Speaking of Faf de Klerk, he’s probably been the player of the series. The Sale Sharks man offers an incredible energy, and his tenacity is second-to-none. Just check out this tackle on 125kg England number 8 Nathan Hughes. Crazy stuff.
