The real deal.
When Leinster fans found out last year that James Lowe was on his way to Dublin they couldn’t quite believe their ears.
The New Zealander was one of the hottest prospects in Super Rugby and had starred for the Maori All Blacks. Many believe he was set to kick down Steve Hansen’s door, but then came the shock news that he was set to move to Ireland.
He then followed that with an incredible Super Rugby campaign with the Chiefs, and an impressive showing with Tazman in the Mitre 10 cup. Now he’s finally landed in the PRo14, and boy did he impress in his debut against Treviso.
17 carries, 134 metres made, 3 line breaks, 5 defenders beaten, 5 offloads, 2 tries and an assist. Oh and a well deserved man of the match award. What a bloody signing for Leinster.
And that’s a try for @jameslowenz who opens his account for @leinsterrugby to give them the lead against @BenettonRugby touching down in the corner
